Hi Dana,

User email reaches Trackwren from src/track.ts:41 in your public repo northwind/ingest-api.

Your new SOC 2 hire will be asked for that list in week one.

I build DataParade, so I mapped all 19 flows and 4 third parties in the repo. Want the map? If not, no reply needed.

Where most founders get stuck

  • "I built something that works. I just don't know who to sell it to."
  • "Every sales guide talks about ICPs, pipelines and sequences. I'm lost by paragraph two."
  • "I don't have investors or old colleagues who can introduce me to buyers."
  • "Emailing strangers feels like spam, and I don't want my name on that."

Blanket was built for this spot. You know your product better than anyone, so that's the only thing it asks you about.

Proof about their own company

Blanket runs your product on what each company publishes, then opens the email with what it found.

Does your product fit?

If your product can find something on a company's public info, it fits.Blanket runs your product on what companies publish: websites, public code, docs, policies. The more your product can show from that, the better the emails.

Great fit

  • Developer tools that read repos, docs or APIs
  • Privacy and compliance tools that check policies, cookies and trackers
  • Accessibility checkers
  • External security scanners
  • Web performance and SEO tools

Workable

Tools that need a company's private data, like internal ops, HR or finance software. Blanket uses a comparison with similar companies, or a short written finding you approve, instead of a live run.

Not a fit yet

Hardware and consumer apps. Also teams that already have salespeople, who are better served by sales tools built for them.

New to sales?

Here are the words, in plain English. You don't need any of these to use Blanket. They're here so sales advice stops sounding like a foreign language.

Cold email
An email to someone who doesn't know you yet. Most get ignored because they're about the sender. Blanket's open with something about the reader.
Warm intro
When someone you both know introduces you. They work well when you have them. Most first-time founders don't, which is why Blanket exists.
ICP
Short for ideal customer profile: the kind of company and person most likely to buy. You don't need one to start. Blanket tries a few and the replies show you yours.
TRIGGER
A public sign that a company needs your product now, like a job post for the problem you solve. Blanket watches for these so your email arrives the same week.
CHAMPION
The person who feels the problem and will push for your product inside their company. Usually not the boss. Blanket finds them and shows you why it picked them.

Common questions

Do I need to know who my customer is?

No. Blanket picks three kinds of customer from public evidence and what your product does. The replies show you which one fits best.

Why do people reply?

Each email is about their own company. It opens with something your product found there, offers a proof pack made for them, and asks one easy question.

Is it okay to email people I don't know?

You send emails from your own account. Check the rules that apply to you and the recipient before you send. Blanket respects your do-not-contact list.

Where do the emails go out from?

Emails use your own Gmail account. Connect Gmail to review and approve sending inside Blanket, save drafts, and sync sent messages and replies. You can also send by hand in Gmail.

What happens when someone says yes?

Blanket writes your reply, with the proof they asked for and two times for a short call. Then it gives you a one-page prep card: what they reacted to, three questions to ask, and a good next step.

How much of my time does this take?

About ten minutes to see your first proof. Then about 15 minutes a day to read new emails and send the ones you like.

Run an accelerator or founder program?

Give every team in your cohort Blanket and track how many land their first customer.
